I’m Mia,
as my sister likes to call me. I’m here to share my experience with solo travelling, walk you through my backpacking adventures and give you my tips and advice. I definitely have made some mistakes, that I will totally share with you, so you don’t have to make them too, haha. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to scare you off solo travelling in fact it’s the complete opposite.
My late grandpa once told me ‘travel this will make you rich’, and was he not wrong. I feel like the luckiest person to be able to see new places, enjoy the delicious foods, get to know different cultures and make friends along the way! Probably the Scandinavians. Felt very welcome and like I was at home in Copenhagen.
Where I’m Going
The truth is I want to build a life with more freedom, more stories and more moments that make me pause and smile. Travelling for me is happiness and I feel the happiest when I’m away, exploring and learning about different cultures. Meeting people and making new friends was never a strength of mine, I always struggled. Solo trailblazing really helped me get myself out there and put myself into the position where I meet people easily. No, we don’t always become friends, but when we do it’s a different level of friendship – we get each other. Join me on my journey and the blazers family!
